        The works from Plants & Pastries are part of an ongoing series of meditative still lives that aim to highlight and investigate objects of everyday surroundings. They also resemble an active and present way of seeing. 

Practising the technique of watercolors play an important roll in the digital age where anything is created on the screen. We constantly edit, delete, change and reproduce. With physical watercolors there is no turning back; each mark, movement and layer of color is visible.
